The Arete Mid has a forefoot plate that protects feet on rocky trails, its mid height protects ankles, and its B-DRY Waterproof technology protects against puddles and downpours. The Arete Mid features the same no-sew construction and A3 Chassis as its low counterparts, but with additional ankle support.
